SYNC Voice Technology
The Ford SYNC® Communications and Entertainment System* is optional in Focus SE
and standard in Focus SES. This state-of-the-art, voice-activated system fully
integrates many Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phones and digital media players. What
can SYNC do? Here's a sampling: Connects a Bluetooth®-enabled phone. Allows you
to control the entire library of your connected MP3 player by voice. Offers

CD/MP3 Capable Player
High-performance stereo sound in Focus begins with an AM/FM system featuring a
single-disc CD player, four speakers and audio input jack, standard in all
models. The Premium System (available in Focus SE and SES) includes an in-dash
6-disc CD player, four coaxial speakers and 8" subwoofer (available in the Moon
& Tune Package). Ford Focus also provides a standard MP3 audio input jack. Just
plug in your player and listen to your entire MP3 library through your car's
sound system.

SIRIUS® Satellite Radio* delivers more than 130 channels of news, sports, talk,
entertainment and 100% commercial-free music. And the big news for 2009 Focus
Coupe: SIRIUS Satellite Radio is now standard.

New Electronic Stability Control
The available Anti-Lock Brake System includes Traction Control that
automatically distributes torque to the wheels with the most traction when
conditions such as mud, gravel, snow and ice require it. This option for 2009
now adds Electronic Stability Control (ESC). This state-of-the-art system
constantly monitors road conditions and the driver's responses, then reduces
engine torque and applies the ABS brakes to help keep all the wheels firmly
planted. ESC brings an added measure of handling confidence to the fun-to-drive
agility you'd expect in a Focus.
Ambient Lighting
The color-configurable interior ambient lighting system lets the driver or front
seat passenger change the color of light in the front and rear footwells and in
the front and rear center console cupholders. Choose from a palette of seven
colors (Red, Blue, Purple, Green, Aqua, White and Yellow) to suit your mood.
Ambient lighting is available in Focus SE and standard in Focus SES.
