Performance-Tuned Suspension
Focus is engineered with a rigid body structure that allows the suspension to
sharpen steering and handling characteristics while providing ride quality. This
combination of stiff body structure and performance-tuned suspension results in
a feel of the road that is solid as well as comfortable. That describes the
standard suspension. Now come Focus SES and SEL, equipped with a rear as well as
front stabilizer bar among the components comprising the enhanced handling
system.
New Luxury Focus SEL
Drive the new Focus SEL and experience the kind of style, performance and
amenities you'd expect in a luxury touring sedan. The SEL features bright chrome
side-mirror skull caps, door handles and exhaust tips; fog lamps and 16"
Euroflanged alloy wheels. Inside, there's a cool-looking metallic instrument
panel appliqué, chrome register accents and chrome rings around the performance
instrument cluster. The seats with heat feature are leather-trimmed. The
steering wheel is leather-wrapped and has integrated cruise and audio controls.
No need to manually adjust the rearview mirror to cut headlamp glare - that's
done automatically. The SEL even comes with the 7-color ambient lighting feature
plus the voice-activated Ford SYNC® Communications and Entertainment System.*
And the feel of confident handling, especially on the tight turns - it's the
result of the sport-tuned components that create the enhanced European-inspired
suspension.
