Personal Safety System
The state-of-the-art Personal Safety SystemŽ, standard on all Ford Ranger
models, includes dual-stage driver front passenger airbags and a front passenger
sensing system that can calculate a person's approximate weight, then send a
signal to automatically activate or deactivate the airbag accordingly.
Standard 4 Wheel ABS
Standard equipment on all Ranger pickups is an Anti-Lock Braking System, which
delivers smooth, straight stops, and helps you maintain control while braking
under a variety of driving conditions.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
It's very important to check your tire pressure regularly to keep all four
inflated within the manufacturer's specified pressure range, because tire
pressure affects ride comfort, safety, and fuel economy. That's why all Ranger
models come equipped with a standard Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS),
