CAPABILITY
Tow Command with Integrated Trail Brake Controller
Super Duty® has the first available factory-installed, fully integrated Trailer
Brake Controller (TBC) in a full-size pickup. No installation hassles or
aftermarket worries. TBC is integrated with the ABS and synchronizes vehicle and
trailer brakes for seamless braking, even with the heaviest loads. Telescoping
trailer tow mirrors are included. Standard on the F-250/F-350 XLT, FX4, Lariat
and F-450 Pickup. TowCommand® with TBC is optional on F-250/F-350 XL.
Class Leading Payload Capacity
Every trucker knows the value of a big payload capacity. Super Duty® delivers
with a massive best-in-class maximum payload of 6,190 lbs. when properly
equipped. More payload capacity can mean fewer trips. And fewer trips can save
you time and money.
Best in Class Towing Capability
Whether you want to tow a boxcar of building materials or a massive powerboat,
you'll want Ford Super Duty® pulling for you. No truck in its class can tow more
when properly equipped. And for demanding fifth wheel applications, the F-450
capability is without equal. When properly equipped, it can pull an astounding
24,600 lbs!
Tight Turning Radius
The Super Duty® F-450 Crew Cab long-box 4x4 pickup features a standard
wide-track monobeam front suspension design and more wheel well space (also
available on F-350 DRW Crew cab long-box 4x4). That translates into a tight
turning radius to help give you impressive maneuverability.
