Stowable Bed Extender
Super Duty innovation is evident in its optional Stowable Bed Extender, a cargo
support for corralling more of what you carry. It splits in the middle, folds,
and stows into the sides of the bed. There's no wasted space and no need to
remove the extender when carrying large, flat loads. Made of fiberglass-filled
polypropylene, the Stowable Bed Extender won't dent. It's strong, durable and
corrosion resistant.
Integrated Tailgate Step
Super Duty® offers an available integrated step hidden in the tailgate for
easier access to the bed and its contents, including a unique flip-up grab bar
that can handle the beefiest of grabbers. A tailgate liner and a pin-lock for
added stiffness are included. It's unprecedented convenience, especially when
combined with the torsion bar in the standard Tailgate Assist™ that makes
closing the stamped-steel gate easy.
Rapid Heat Supplemental Cab Heater
Rapid-Heat is an available supplemental heating element on diesel trucks that
helps bring the interior temperature up to a comfortable level more quickly. The
self-regulating heater integrates into the HVAC case, improving the temperature
of the heater up to 18 degrees F at discharge.
Power Scope Side Mirrors
At the touch of a switch, the available PowerScope™ mirrors adjust, telescope or
fold. Designed specifically for Super Duty®, these large mirrors extend up to
70mm and include heated glass. The manually adjustable spotter mirror is more
than twice the size of its predecessor, providing expanded visibility. No other
mirror in Super Duty's class offers this much functionality and convenience.
Standard on FX4 and Lariat, available on XLT.
Rear View Camera System
The optional Rear View Camera System displays a wide view for backing up as well
as a clear picture of the hitch - useful when hooking up the trailer. The camera
is mounted in the tailgate handle and monitored in the self-dimming interior
rearview mirror - for easy line of sight right where you need to be looking when
backing up. Available on XLT, FX4 and Lariat.
Voice Activated Ford SYNC
The available state-of-the-art Voice-Activated Ford SYNC® Communications and
Entertainment System* fully integrates Bluetooth®-enabled mobile phones and
digital media players to allow you to control the entire library of your
connected MP3 player by voice. (Visit syncmyride.com to learn more). The system
also comes with SIRIUS® Travel Link™ service** which provides real-time traffic,
weather, fuel prices (including lowest available prices), sports scores and
schedules, movie listings and show times.

Navigation System
The available Navigation System with Satellite Radio includes a 6.5" in-dash
touch-screen, DVD/ROM/CD player with MP3 capability, AM/FM radio, USB port,
voice-activated controls, digital clock, eight speakers and subwoofer. Even if
you don't spend a lot of time on the road in your Super Duty® pickup, this is a
must-have feature.
